Flux Warrior 2D^TM

Flux Warrior 2D^TM is a 2-D verion of the 3-D game Flux Warrior^TM, which is still under development. It uses the exact same back-end code as FluxWarrior^TM, but with the graphics from Flux World^TM. All I am doing is swapping out the 3-D engine from Flux Warrior^TM and replacing it with a 2-D engine, nothing more. Except for the rendering code, the code is exactly the same as Flux Warrior^TM.

Here are some notable features of the game:

• Eight precincts instead of six.
• A longer story with more vortices and soldiers.
• Saved-game interoperability. That's right, not only will saved games work between different versions of the same game, but you will also be able to save a game in Flux Warrior 2D and load the game in Flux Warrior^TM, and vice versa.

You may download the demo by clicking here. Unzip the file into a folder, then click on the file Manual.html to read the instructions. Then click on the file FluxWarrior2DDemo.exe to run the demo.

Why are you doing this?
I have still been unable to find 3-D artists to complete Flux Warrior^TM, so this game will give players the opportunity to play the complete game using 2-D graphics.

Why is there no text at the bottom of the screen?
This is only an early demo version of the game, and it does not work with all screen resolutions. If you cannot see the text, try increasing your sceen resolution. The final version will work with all screen resolutions.
